How to check the condition of the MOSFET

Back when I first got to know MOSFETs I was confused, how do I know if it's still good or is it broken? Use a multitester even if the result is that the needle does not move at all. But when searching on the internet says that a good MOSFET when tested using a multitester the needle does not move. 


But that statement doesn't make me necessarily believe it.
After learning how it works now I know how to test it, there are two ways we can do it, first using an analog or digital multitester and the second practicing it directly with the help of a little component.

Just look at the following method.
The first way:

1. Set up an analog or digital multitester.

2. Set the selector on the X10 scale on the analog multitester while on the multitester set the selector on the "Diode & continuity test".

3. Connect the negative(black) probe to the drain(D) time of the MOSFET.

4. Connect the positive probe(+) to the foot of the source(S) MOSFET.

5. In positions 3 and 4, touch the foot gate(G) of the MOSFET and the foot drain(D), then the needle will slightly move to the right and stop at a scale. 

Even though it has been released, when it is tested again, the needle immediately moves to that scale and maintains its condition until the static electricity is removed.

How to eliminate the effects of static electricity on the MOSFET.

1. Do steps 3 and 4 above.

2. Remove step 4, then connect the red probe(+) to the gate(G) leg then the static electricity will disappear.
finish.
If the above steps are met then the MOSFET is in a "good" state.

This method applies to all N-Channel MOSFETs such as IRF630, IRF640, K10A60 etc. 

The second way:
For this second method, you only need additional components LED + resistor and battery.

For the reading of the foot the MOSFET starts from the left, namely Gate(G), Drain(D) and Source(S).

    2. ini dia yg sya cri2 dri dlu,mw tanya nih mas kw kita mw membuat driver relay dr mosfet gmna skemanya yah? contoh sya mw menggeakan raelay 12v 30A di klaakson mtor sya,dgn rangkaian saklar tepuk! nah ground klakson tu kan dh tersambung ke bodi mtor otomatis kita hnya hrus menymbungkan fositifnya z,tlong bntuanya mas lg mumet nih sya.

    3. Output dari rangkaian tepuk masuk ke G, S ke negatif dan D ke koil relay, koil relai satunya lagi ke positif.
      Sedangkan dibagian saklar/switch relay, NO ke klakson CT ke positif dan NC dibiarkan
