Tricks to update windows media player library that won't update or failed - Fareedish's Blog

This trick I presented after previously I experienced that difficulty updating the windows media player library. So on windows media player does not appear a single music, video or other media that should appear even though the location of the library has been determined. Why is that and how to deal with it? Could it be that you have experienced it too and haven't found a solution yet?

Here I will share tricks to overcome this. 

Ok, just go directly to the crime scene, first open the options folder in windows explorer, click organize->Folder and search options then the Folder Options window will appear, click the view tab then select show hidden files, folders and drivers as shown below.

If it's like the picture above, click the Ok button, now the hidden folder will appear. 

Now open Computer\System (C;)\Users\"user name"\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player\ and then delete everything. 

After all deleted, now open windows media player.

Then update the library, and congratulations...!!! The Windows media player can now update all music in the selected folder location.
